Welcome to the Ghost-o-Matic app, developed by the Society for the Pursuit of the Reputedly Undead, Namely Ghosts (SPRUNG), designed to complement the Ghostkeeper's Journal and Field Guide. The book is essential for activating the features of the Ghost-o-Matic app.

This app utilizes cutting-edge augmented reality technology to uncover concealed messages, discover missing pages, explore metaphysical phenomena, solve enigmatic puzzles, and even encounter ghosts within and beyond the pages of the book.

We require your assistance. One of our SPRUNG operatives has vanished, leaving behind only his Ghostkeeper's Journal. To uncover the hidden secrets contained within, you'll need the Ghost-o-Matic app. Our operative's name is Agamemnon White – a prodigious child with a unique affinity for all things supernatural and an insatiable craving for tuna sandwiches. He served as the head of Ghostkeeping in the Western region and diligently documented the most potent ecto-energy manifestations in his Journal. Download the Ghost-o-Matic app, synchronize it with your personal copy of the Ghostkeeper's Journal, join SPRUNG, and utilize both the book and app together to retrace Ag's steps and aid in his rescue. However, proceed with caution... upon opening the Journal, you will inadvertently release the ghosts trapped within. It will be your responsibility to recapture them using the Ghost-o-Matic app while unraveling the mystery behind Ag's disappearance... without falling victim yourself!

The Ghostkeeper's Journal immerses older children and young adults in an interactive narrative experience that merges traditional literature with the digital age. Through the integration of augmented reality technology, the app provides over fifty animated sequences, digital puzzles, and personal achievements as part of a captivating storyline that unravels the enigmatic workings of the Ghostkeeping society and its clandestine secrets. Join SPRUNG through this app and embark on a new era of storytelling.

To get started, launch the app and position your device's camera towards your Journal. In-app notifications will guide you through the process of joining SPRUNG and capturing your very first ghost.

NOTE: The Ghost-O-Matic app does not require an internet connection after downloading. No data is transmitted from the app; any information entered remains solely on the user's device.

This complimentary app is accessible to all smartphone or tablet owners with compatible devices (iPhone 5 or above, iPad 2 or above, iPod Touch 6th Gen. or above - all running iOS 8.0 or above).
